Happy birthday

Friend says she only got a coloured red egg on her birthdays. And I told her she got an egg more than I did. But rather, she got a day where something was done for her, and it wasn’t one that was put together to put her in her place. I don’t even dare to care about birthdays.

We are in love, lying on a bed, cuddling. She holds me and I bury my face beside her neck. Our touch is familiar to each other — we have been together for a few years. I turn the other way,  while she continues holding me.
